Get the Homebase app

Your household tools, one tap away. Add Homebase to your phone’s home screen or your computer, and sign in with your existing account.

Open Homebase

Your browser handles installation. If it offers an install button here, tap it to continue.

Install from your browser

Homebase installs directly from this website. There is no separate app-store download.

Android · Chrome

Open Chrome’s menu and choose Add to Home screen, then Install if offered. Chrome may show Install app directly.

iPhone or iPad · Safari

Open this page in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Computer · Chrome or Edge

Use the install icon in the address bar, or find Install Homebase in your browser’s menu.

If Homebase is already installed, you can open it from your home screen or app list. Some browsers only offer a shortcut.

Share to Homebase

On supported Android installations, choose Homebase from another app’s Share menu to send a receipt photo, PDF, link or text to your private Capture inbox. Review it before filing anything for the household.

Chrome may need to update the installed app before Homebase appears in Share. You can always upload a file or paste a link in Capture inbox. Sharing needs an internet connection.

Android still showing the old Portal name or icon?

Current app identity: Homebase
This is the name and artwork Homebase provides to your browser.

Chrome updates the installed Android name and icon separately from the screens inside the app. It may ask you to approve the new name or icon, and schedule the update while the phone is charging on Wi-Fi and the app is closed.

If Chrome asks to approve Homebase’s new look, approve it to finish that change. Homebase cannot approve this Android prompt or read your phone’s saved launcher icon.

A plain home-screen shortcut may keep the label and picture it had when it was created. The install option above uses the current Homebase name and icon.
